The Process of Time

If you have ever learned or taught a kid to ride a bike, then you will understand this principle. Let’s say the process begins with a “Kid’s Ride On”. No pedals. Close to the ground. Then comes the graduation to the Big Wheel. Lots of muscle power is required to power this toddler favorite, but eventually the kid outgrows it.
Next, the shiny red tricycle arrives. This makes it easier to travel a longer distance and even uphill. Great memories are made, photo opportunities, and then it’s time for the bike with training wheels for balance.
In the process of time, each step gives you training, confidence and the balance to graduate to the two-wheeler. No loving, caring parent would allow you to skip to the ten-speed.
Likewise, God allows us the process of time to teach us and to spare us from the dreadful outcome of flesh on the pavement on our first spin around the block. Remember the lessons you learn in the process. They are invaluable!
