Meet Kathy

Kathy Walters Burnsed knows what it’s like to have too many tasks and too little time. While a wife and mother, Kathy worked her way through a diverse career path including two decades in the fast paced world of television news, the pharmaceutical industry, municipal government and education. She also spent seven years running a television production studio. Her media career includes launching and producing daily talk shows –  Celebrate and Red Letter TV airing on Savannah Georgia’s ABC and FOX affiliates. Currently Kathy invests her time in speaking, mentoring,teaching and writing for churches, corporate and civic groups.

Kathy lives in beautiful Savannah Georgia with her husband Bucky Burnsed. Bucky and Kathy consider their home an Embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven. Their home located on one of southeast Georgia’s barrier islands is always open for a Bible study, prayer, or a slice of pie and a cup of coffee, although Kathy prefers tea!

She is the mother of two amazing children. Her first born, (smart and quick-witted) Kyle Burnsed  and her (beautiful and talented) daughter, Kari Burnsed Craven.  Kari and her husband Johnathan are the world’s best parents to Kathy & Bucky’s two grandchildren. When you have time you can ask her about her most incredible grandchildren- William and Lauren. Kathy feels like God has filled her time on earth with the most precious people on the planet! And she would love to meet you!
